Education & Training

Dr. Daeuk David Kim is a graduate of the USC Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, where his clinical excellence earned him the Frank Lott Memorial Award for Removable Complete Prosthetics. 

Before dentistry, he studied Environmental Economics and Policy at UC Berkeley — a background that shaped the analytical, patient-first approach he brings to practice today.

A Path Built on Service

Dr. Kim’s calling began as a medic in the Korean Army, where he discovered a deep purpose in caring for others. From there, he worked as a phlebotomist, a dental lab technician, and a dental assistant — gaining a rare, ground-up understanding of dentistry long before he ever sat in the dentist’s chair himself.

Outside the Practice

Dr. Kim lives for time with his wife, Deborah, and their three children. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him cooking Korean and European food, dancing hip-hop, or singing.
